초록 Abstract

가정의 에너지 소비를 효율화하기 위해 실시간 사용량을 가시화하고 피드백을 제공하는 스마트홈 연동 모바일 애플리케이션 EnerSave를 개발하였다. 이 앱은 IoT 허브 및 스마트 플러그로부터 기기별 전력 사용 데이터를 수집하여 시간대별 소비 현황을 차트로 시각화하고, 월간·주간 통계를 제공함으로써 사용자가 자신의 에너지 사용 패턴을 직관적으로 파악할 수 있도록 돕는다. 또한 예측 모델을 통해 예상 전기요금과 절감 가능량을 산출하고, 에너지 사용량이 기준치를 초과하면 푸시 알림으로 경고한다. 아울러 EnerSave는 기기별 에너지 소비 비율을 보여주고 맞춤형 절약 팁을 제공하여 사용자에게 에너지 절약 행동 변화를 유도한다. 본 연구를 통해 일상생활에서의 에너지 낭비 문제를 해결하기 위한 기술적 방안을 제시하고, 이러한 애플리케이션 개발 경험이 학생들의 융합적 문제해결 능력 및 지속가능성에 대한 인식을 향상시키는 교육적 효과도 함께 논의한다.

To help households streamline their energy consumption, the company has developed EnerSave, a smart home-connected mobile application that provides real-time usage visibility and feedback. The app collects per-device power usage data from IoT hubs and smart plugs, visualizes consumption by time of day in charts and provides monthly and weekly statistics to help users intuitively understand their energy usage patterns. It also uses a predictive model to calculate estimated electricity bills and savings potential, and alerts users with push notifications when energy usage exceeds a threshold. EnerSave also shows the percentage of energy consumption by device and provides personalized savings tips to encourage users to change their energy-saving behavior. This study presents technical solutions to address the problem of energy waste in everyday life and discusses the educational benefits of developing such applications to enhance students' interdisciplinary problem-solving skills and sustainability awareness.
